Office life experience (Year 2017 to 2022)
Office experiences while working with West Data Center was multiple and pathetic.
Work load of Migration of Leased Circuits :
In the year 2016, the work of migration of leased Circuits was taken up with the Corporate office order, as migration of Landline connection was over for all the SSA and Sign off process of LL was also completed for all the SSA.
As a special task, the work of migration of leased Circuits was assigned to me to distribute SSA-wise load of Lease Circuits to the existing SDEs, JTOs, AOs, and JAOs. The work distribution was among 65 members of all the existing hands dealing with SSA Landline-wise.
The strategy adopted as follows:
1. the work of migration of leased Circuits to the existing staff, as per SSA they are holding.
2. The training was imparted to the existing staff about the data validation and verifications.
3. The training was also conducted SSA-wise weekly to the SSA AO, JAO dealing with LC and asked for class room at RTTC.
4. A small software was also developed by me internally "Sql-Loader", "Data Validation" . I was very much familiar with the script of "Sql-Loader"
5. Sign-off process of SSA.
6. Sharing the data of Leased Circuits migrated, if sign off process is delayed.
7. Billing.

VRS application:
Since there has been financial need to help my children to go for higher studies and burden of work was increasing with politics by my seniors for one or other way, i decided to submit my application for voluntary retirement effective from 8th May, 2018. I submitted my application of VRS by giving three months notice dated 1st December, 2017
Voluntary Retirement application was very lengthy more than 55 pages with multiple questions to answer, along with family photo and family details. Banks Account detail was also asked for, to fill so that a monthly pension could be credited. it is said to open a new pension account at nationalised bank.
As soon as I submitted my application to my top boss, I expected that he could express his gratitude and try to convince to keep it aside, but to my surprise, he was very happy, as if a big problem is going to be resolved.
It sounds like you're
observing a strong positive reaction from a specific subordinate,
especially a female colleague, after you submitted your VRS (Voluntary
Retirement Scheme) application.
A few possibilities to consider:
1. She may see it as a career opportunity — Your departure could open up a promotion or new role for her.
2.
Relief from a difficult working relationship — If there was tension or
high pressure under your leadership, she might feel relieved. or it may be the reason that your administrative skills to extract the work, must be sever. or she must be happy to sit idle without any work and your absence may benefit her.
3.
Personal camaraderie — She might simply be happy for you moving on to a
new phase in life, especially if you shared a good rapport.
If
her visible happiness feels unusual or unprofessional to you, you could
quietly observe if it impacts team dynamics before your exit. If it
doesn’t bother you, you might just let it be, as your focus now is
likely on a smooth transition.
Some of my office staff, mentioned that what will happen about your task, if you retired from Service ? who will handle your post, in your absence ? If the person posted at your post, whether he could be capable of carrying out the job efficiently ? I used to answer all of them that nothing is going to happen for someone's absence or presence.
Many people suggested that one should not undertake any new work solely for the purpose of earning money, but rather pursue all those activities one loves—the very things for which there was never enough time while holding down a job.
1. Travel. Explore famous destinations both within the country and abroad. In India, visit places such as Dalhousie, Dharamshala, Darjeeling, Manali, Kullu, Narkanda, Mount Abu, Ooty, Munnar, Jaisalmer, and Jodhpur.
2. Jaipur, Chittorgarh, Goa, Kashmir, Kanyakumari, Dilwara, Jim Corbett, and other wildlife sanctuaries—including the Gir Forest and Manas
3. Abroad: Europe, America, Norway, Sweden, Singapore, Australia, Russia, Africa, Baku, Japan, Vietnam, and Sri Lanka.
4. Read good novels. Read famous classic books online at Project Gutenberg. Read thousands of Hindi books for free on the 'Hindi Samay' website.
5. Listen to good music. Listen to timeless evergreen songs, and watch their videos on YouTube.
6. Create your own YouTube channel; make videos on topics that interest you, and train people by conducting free online classes.
7. Cultivate an interest in classical music; the pleasure derived from it is truly unique.
8 Engage in some creative activity—painting, music, writing, or something else.
9 Take care of your health. Go for a walk. Exercise at home or by joining a group.
10 Engage in some social service. Teach underprivileged children. Spend time with visually impaired children. Volunteer at an old-age home. Devote your time to all those whom society has left isolated and destitute.
11 Support institutions such as orphanages, or assist in their management.
12 Write articles; become a blogger.
13 If possible, tutor children in your neighborhood.
14 Safeguard your funds (retirement benefits) carefully, as you will need to rely on them for your sustenance. Refrain from venturing into new investments or taking on new risks. After investing a portion of your money in Post Office schemes (registered in your and your spouse's names), deposit any remaining balance into Senior Citizen Fixed Deposits. If funds still remain after that, consider investing them in dentures. You should also opt for the Post Office MIS (Monthly Income Scheme) to ensure a regular stream of income.
15 If you possess technical expertise or knowledge of computer programming, you can utilize your spare time to engage in coding, create online coding tutorials, or design projects.

Some my office colleague started pursuing me to withdraw application for VRS, under the pretext of financial benefits coming in future due to pay revision or pay re-structure.
MANY QUESTIONS-
what you are going to do after retirement ?
by retirement you will be in losses ?
after retirement, will you able to sit idle.
There has been real pathetic surprise that few top officers (Mr. Mahavar, Kelwani) expressed while general talk to my next box to show him that without his presence and guidance, all other team members can manage the work. My expression to such statement was common that work will go on successfully, without anybody's contribution. I could have understood their pain in the heart that I could have manage the work surpassing them, on the top.
Even at home, one after another started grumbling that how to manage his presence after retirement.
